Swimming Pool Kit Construction Part 1 – Tool Check List

Before beginning your swimming pool kit construction, check the pool kit component list and read the entire installation manual provided by Pool Warehouse. During the various steps of installation, refer to the swimming pool kit construction manual, the pool kit installation video and the appropriate “dig spec” drawing supplied to you. As always check any state or local buildings codes before proceeding with construction.

Construction Sequence

  1. Check with utility company in regards to underground utilities (gas, electric, phone, etc.) In many states there is a toll free number you must call prior to digging.
  2. Obtain all necessary building permits.
  3. Hire a licensed electrician if needed.
  4. Hire a excavator if needed.
  5. Arrange for water to be delivered if necessary.
  6. Arrange for concrete delivery if necessary.
  7. Arrange for fencing around the pool area and check local codes for requirements.
  8. Follow this installation manual carefully and complete only the steps that pertain to a Hydra in-ground swimming pool kit you are installing. REMEMBER, Hydra Pools has 3 different polymer pool kit lines and one steel pool kit line.
