Sauna, pronounced "sow (like how) nah", is the only Finnish word in the English dictionary, and it means "bath" and the "bathhouse."  Sauna has been a way of life for over 2000 years in Finland, where it was invented. Finns who settled in Delaware in 1638 first brought the sauna to America, and one of their first saunas was built where the Philadelphia City Hall now stands.
