  Cell:
  1) The cell must be installed after the pump, filter and heater in a horizontal position only.  No exceptions.  The ports should be facing DOWN.
  2) Apply clear PVC primer, then cement, to the fittings and the PVC pipes.
  3) Mount the cell level and hold in place for 30 seconds.
  
  Power Supply:
   

  THIS UNIT IS 220 VOLT AND MUST BE WIRED TO A 220 VOLT TIME CLOCK
   

  1) Determine the proper area to mount the power supply.  Use the hardware supplied.
  2) Hard-wire the black and white wires on the chlorinator to the load side of the time clock (or controller) that turns on the pump. It does not matter which wire goes which terminal, just that they go to the LOAD terminals.  This turns the chlorinator on when the pump goes on.  The yellow/green wire is the ground wire.
  3) Connect the 3 wires from the power pack to the cell as follows:
  LM Series Chlorinator:
  Connect the blue sensor wire clip to the blue sensor terminal and the other 2 wires to either terminal on the cell. It does not matter which one goes where.
  Standard Chlorinator:
  Connect the Red wire to the Red Terminal and the Black wire to the black terminal.  The connectors will not go any other way.  Connect the sensor clip wire to the sensor terminal. 
  4) Adjust the water chemistry as follows:
  PH between   7.2 and 7.6  THIS IS ESSENTIAL!!!
  Total Alkalinity 80-120 ppm
  Cyanuric Acid  80-100 ppm THIS IS ESSENTIAL!!!
  Salt    4000 ppm
  35 pounds of salt per 1000 gallons of water equals 4000 ppm (new pool water)
