CMP 9-0620 Mixing Degas Vessel Destruct Cartridge Features:

• This ozone destruct cartridge with Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) destroys excess ozone gas removed by the MDV.
• The MDV system prevents virtually all ozone bubbles from returning to the pool, which eliminates bubble noise and visibility.
• After mixing ozone into pool and spa water, the MDV vents any left-over ozone through the Carbon Destruct (PN 9-0620, pictured above) which immediately destroys the ozone and turns it back into oxygen.
• It allows application of higher ozone concentrations and protects pool components such as covers, fittings, and surfaces, and finally prevents bubbles from gathering under the cover or inside plumbing.
• The oxygen bubbles are vented into the atmosphere either at the bottom nipple of the Destruct Cartridge or through the clear PVC tubing that comes with the initial MDV*.
• This replacement carbon destruct cartridge is part of all Del Ozone’s MDV (Mixing Degas Vessel) systems : MVD XL, MDV-10, MDV-10-04 and MDV-10-08.
