The Hayward SPX1089K SP1089 Dyna-Skim Weir Assembly is a replacement product that is designed for use in Hayward Dyna-skim Automatic Skimmer Model SP1089. The measurements for this product are 7-1/2″ wide x 5-3/8″ high x 1″ thick. The Hayward Skimmer Weir is a door that is used to close your skimmer when it is turned off to prevent debris and dirt from entering the skimmer body. This device adjusts to the pool water level on its own and traps the leaves that are pulled into your skimmer when the pump is running and also holds the leaves in the skimmer when the pump shuts down.
