- Integral top diffuser ensures even distribution of water over the top of the sand media bed. Full-size internal piping provides smooth, free-flowing performance
- Unitized, corrosion-proof filter tank molded of rugged, colorfast polymeric material for dependable, all-weather performance
- 7 position Hayward Vari-Flo™ control valve with easy-to-use lever-action handle lets you dial any of the valve/filter functions. Integral sight glass lets you see when backwash cycle is completed
- Large pressure sand/water drain for rapid winterizing or servicing
- Precision engineered umbrella-fold self cleaning laterals for balanced flow and backwashing, plus easy serviceability

Terrific filter! I had bought an expensive sand filter from my local pool retailer and it broke down and gave us issues right from beginning. I got this item with my Hayward 1.5 hp pump and its so easy to set up and if some of the parts on top are needed changed their easily capable access of changing without tearing the whole filter apart! I’ve really enjoy it and like the work it does with our pool, not had any issues at all.
