Transform your vinyl liner pool with the innovative and high-quality Modern Moulding MM-NC Bullnose Styrofoam Forms! A standard box of forms comes in 14 pieces of 8′ for a total of 112 linear SqFt. You will need to measure the perimeter of your pool to determine the amount of linear SqFt. of forms you need. A standard 16′ x 32′ rectangle pool without steps or any additional bump outs will require at minimum 96 linear SqFt. of forms. The Disposable Cantilever Clips are sold separately, and matching 6″ radius corners are avalible.

How to Use the Modern Moulding MM-NC Bullnose Styrofoam Forms

This innovative system will cut hours off of your installation and cleanup time. With one of these coping kits, a standard pool can be set up and ready to pour in as little as one hour, and here’s how.

• Step 1 – Preparation
  • Assess the shape of the pool and determine whether you will need to bend the coping around corners or create 90° corners.
• Step 2 – Install Forms in Liner Track Before the Liner is Installed.
  • Insert the forms into the liner track. Modern Moulding’s forms are designed to wedge into the liner track, eliminating the need for two-way tape or tie-wire. This innovative design also ensures a secure fit and that there will be no debris to clean out of the track after the pour.
• Step 3 – Insert Reusable Clips
  • Insert the reusable clips along the line and push them into the liner track. Rotate the clip 90° to lock it in. When you get to a joint, insert a clip and rotate it 45° to cover both forms and ensure maximum support. For best results, clips should be 10-12″ apart around the curves and 8-10″ apart where the pool is straight. Remember to duck tape all joints before you pour concrete.
• Step 4 – Ready to Pour Concrete
  • Ready to pour! Remember to spray the forms with form release or cooking oil and remove all bending tape prior to pouring.
• Step 5 – While Pouring Concrete
  • Pour the concrete away from the coping and rake or shovel it into the coping form. Using a vibrating tool, vibrate around the coping for a smooth finish.
• Step 6 – Stripping the Forms
  • Stripping the forms. Before the concrete has fully cured, unlock the clips and remove the coping forms. Using a damp sponge, smooth out the joints and edges.
