The Raypak 407A 399,000 BTU 0-5K Ft Elevation ASME Low NOx Pool Heater by Pool Warehouse offers a flexible range of options with modern design, construction, and self-diagnostic controls to suit your commercial pool warming needs.
Choose your heat exchanger, either Copper or Cupro-Nickle. In the Commercial design of the 407 they both generate 399,000 BTUs , but the Cupro-Nickel will last longer and resists corrosion by saltwater, but has the trade off of being a little more expensive.
What separates the Raypak 407A ASME Low NOx Pool Heater from the Raypak 407A Digital Pool Heater is that is designed to meet American Society of Mechanical Engineer standards. These standards not only meet but should also exceed the strenuous of commercial code requirements. The Raypak 407A Series are all Low NOx designed, the air fuel mixture is maintained by a gas valve/blower system that allows the heater to always burn clean and safe, allowing the heater to function properly up to 5,000 Ft of elevation without any modification. Which meets stricter safety and environmental standards that you may need or want to meet.
Understanding the Raypak
The Raypak comes standard with a Unitherm Governor, which is a patented 3-way valve built in the header that helps reduce condensation from low inlet water temperatures. It automatically regulates the water flow to help keep the water temperature in the heat exchanger above 105°F. Both water temperature and water flow rate are controlled. Eliminating condensation, sooting, and scale build-up that can shorten heater life.
