The Royal Teak Collection Storage Box features pneumatic springs, and the slatted sides allow ventilation to help prevent mildew build-up. Includes an interior plastic liner providing extra protection for your stored items.  This wood has been kiln-dried and machine made with mortise and tenon joints for a sturdy construction. All Royal Teak Collection furniture is constructed of premium plantation-harvested teak. Teak is a very hard, dense wood that has a high oil content, which makes it naturally resistant to moisture, rot, shrinking, warping, splintering, insects and fungus. If left untreated, teak will naturally age to a beautiful silver-gray.

• On these 2 boxes, there is a lid, that have silicone between the slats, and this silicone will over time shrink slightly, so you will eventually have to fill it with dark gray silicone which is very easy. (same as your kitchen tiles, where you occasionally add silicone).
