General Care Instructions

  • Do not drain the pool completely for any reason. It will shrink and not stretch back into its original shape.
  • Avoid the use of any abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning aids.
  • Vacuum and clean the pool with a cleaner designed for vinyl lined pools.
  • Never use sharp objects in or around the pool as they can puncture the liner.
  • When adding chemicals, add one chemical at a time.
  • Add each dissolved chemical through the skimmer for best dispersion into the pool (through the filtration system).
  • After the chemicals have dissipated, cover your pool when it’s not in use. This will decrease its exposure to damaging ultraviolet rays. Less chemicals are required if your pool is covered and/or not used. To avoid high concentrations of airborne chemicals building up between the water and the cover, open or vent the cover every 24 hours.
  • Never close a pool without circulating the pool water for several hours after the addition of chemicals.
  • Prior to installation, read and follow the chemical manufacturers’ directions. Many liner problems are a result of misuse of chemicals.

Warranty Information

Warranty Claim Procedures

Written notice must be sent by mail within 10 days of the defect(s) appearance.

This must include:

  • Picture of the damaged area(s).
  • A copy of the original invoice.
  • A copy of your Pegasus warranty.
  • The serial number, located on the back of the vertical wall seam.

Additional Information:

Do not forget to include your name, address, and telephone number.

We will then evaluate the claim and advise you via mail on what further steps must be taken. We may request the liner to be returned for repair or alteration, by you or your pool dealer. Upon inspection, if the damage is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the liner at our discretion. If the liner cannot be repaired and a replacement is needed, a new liner can be made. The replacement liner cost will be pro-rated as per the table in your warranty. Please note freight is not included. No reimbursement(s) will be given for replacement liner(s) purchased elsewhere. If a replacement liner is made the section of the defective area will need to be cut out and returned to Pegasus. – Pegasus Products, Inc.
