Why should you choose a heat pump? A heat pump is an excellent cost effective option, because it utilizes electricity to run the compressor which heats the self contained refrigerant that turns into a gas when it gets hot and goes back to a liquid state when it cools. The heated gas then runs through the heat exchanger to warm the water that is passing through on the outside of the heat exchanger. This process as well as pulling in warm air from the outside of the unit combines to create a cost effective heating option vs traditional heaters.
