Strainer cover seals with less than a 1/4 turn. Clear cover to know when the basket needs cleaning. Easy to service with just 4 bolts to remove. Features heavy-duty motor, 230 voltage and 1-horsepower.

The 1HP Hayward Tri-Star that I bought in 2019 was larger and a heavier unit. I had a difficult time getting the MaxFlo unit to align with the existing pluming. This MaxFlo is not the same as the Tri-Star Model. It can be made to work but it is not a plug and play replacement.
